I currently switch between 2 FAT32 boot partitions by booting to DOS and running a batch file that calls a DOS utility. If I covert all my partitions to NTFS how can switch between them? I've had problems in the past with utilities like Boot Magic and don't want to use them.

NT/2k/XP have a boot utility built in that will boot between OSes. FAT32 sucks, dump it.

I know that XP has a boot utility but can I use it for switching between 2 XP installations in different partitions?

NT/2k/XP have a boot utility that allows you to select the OS you want to boot.

ie. Yes.

Is it possible to hide the partition that isn't being booted using the XP boot utility?

That's right. That's why I asked the question.

NTFS4DOS, atleast I think that is what it is called. DOS sucks, why bother with it?
