Dual Mouse Question

Does anyone see any problem with having 2 mice plugged in and active at the same time? I want to do it with an MX Revolution and an MX Air. Although I no doubt would only use 1 at a time, they would be both active and ready to use/swap out for the other at any time. Also, either way, would you reccomend installing setpoint software(which I normally would do) or just run the drivers windows 7 installs(which some techs have told me they prefer)?
Thanks in advance....:🙂

multiple mice is fine. i ran my game rig with a MS natural and a generic mouse for a long time. the driver software will enable more features, but there may be unknown complications with W7. you should be fine since you are using 2 logitech.

2 mice is easy to do. Just plug them in and the system will take care of it. But you may have issues with the mouse pointer jumping if the desk gets bumped. Imagine moving the mouse around and you wiggle the desk a bit. The other mouse moves and the pointer jumps away just as your about to click an object. So be sure the mouse not in use is in a secure spot or has the sensor pointed away from things.

we have 2 stations in many of our trucks for the same computer, 2 keyboards, 2 mice. one for the engineer and one for a company man to use the computer. it works fine as long as you are not trying to do things at the same time.
