Depends on the job. People however who do not believe in this study do not realize that not everyone can switch between screens as fast as they can.

Only if you're running an OS that doesn't handle multiple desktops. In Ubuntu I use 3 work desktops, 1 for chat/e-mail, and 1 for whatever internet game I'm playing at the time when my code is compiling or when I'm waiting for a program to finish running
Actually, having a second monitor would be nice if I were following a guide or something, but if you don't need a list of instructions or video editing or something where you need both screens active at the exact same time then there's really no point

I believe it. Also it's pretty much a must for programming. Don't know how I'd do without dual monitors.

Dual monitors are great... you can have documentation or a user request viewable on one screen while working on the project on another screen. It easily improved my productivity by 25% at my old job.
