I'm having the same problem here, you can't see movies in the second monitor, it lags. Maybe it is meant to be that way?

I believe that it's normal to have crappy performance on your second monitor. I think the hardware acceleration gets disabled or something like that.

So is this problem common to ALL DUAL monitoring systerm with 2 vid cards??? or just XP?? will it be ok under win2k??? watching movies on 2nd monitor and lag-free movment of the windows??

I have dual monitors with WinXP Pro and I can pretty much do anything I want on secondary monitor, watch DVDs, watch DivX, use the crappy built in Windows player thingy.

I have absolutely no lag on my secondary monitor with anything!

Both my vid cards are 64MB (MSI GeForce 3 ti 200 64MB AGP & ATI Radeon 7000 64MB PCI) , could that have something to do with it?

Untill I downloaded the latest drivers for my secondary ATI card, my system would crash almost instantly upon accessing secondary monitor. Now everything works like a charm.

Going to install an old 16MB AT! Rage 128 vid card from my other Alpha Rig for triple monitors, will report back in Video section if I have any lag with that one. (won't have time for that switch for a while though)
