Yeah the monitors identified properly. Also, my other monitor is getting interference like the screen isn't refreshing properly. I bought a 6' VGA cable extender because the one that comes on it isn't long enough, could that be the reason? The one I bought was a 6' belkin triple shielded so i wouldn't think that's the problem, but i was wondering if maybe the length was doing it.
I dont think the interference you mention would be linked to the AIM problem although if possible, try switching the extension cable between the monitors to see if the same problem is reproduced.
Also if possible, try both monitors hooked up together without the cable. If it still doesnt work then Id assume that the cable has nothing to do with the problem.
MSN Messenger obeys every one of my commands with respect to positioning on a dual monitor system. AIM actually has options to sort this out but refuses to use them in your case. Strange.
Hope someone can get to the bottom of it. Perhaps a fresh install of AIM would be good. Did you happen to install AIM before or after you implemented your Dual Monitor setup? Could be the problem.
