Dual Monitor question

I bought a VGA to DVI adapter and connected a second monitor to my Radeon 9800. The color and the fonts are not as crisp and clear on the second monitor as they are on the first monitor. I got the first monitor plugged into the VGA port and the second monitor plugged into the DVI port using the DVI to VGA adapter. Is there anyway to get the colors and font on the second monitor as nice as it looks on the first monitor or is this normal for dual monitor configurations?

the first monitor is a 19" CRT and the second is a 17" CRT.

It's probably because your 17" sucks compared to your 19".

probably just needs some adjustments on the 17" CRT's settings.

MY 33" and my 19" both look crisp on my 9700 Pro regardless of which one is hooked into the DVI and which one is on the DB-15.

Thats weird. I'm using a DVI to VGA adaptor (notice the difference) and it looks perfect on my 2nd monitor (Radeon 9600Pro).
