Running a KVM for mouse and keyboard NOT video.

2 2001 Dell FP monitors. Using D-sub input, latest catalyst drivers. x1300 from the Dell workstation. Has a single DVI splitter on the gcard output. Running the native 1600x1200 resolution. Monitor 1..Primary is fine.

Secondary has a clipped effect. There is a very large (say 350 pixel) black area that moves the "desktop" off to the right. I have adjusted the software and hardware to the left as far as it will go...still losing around 100 pixels.

I have driver refreshing, rearranging the desktops in the display settings, etc. It worked fine on the original setup with a lower resolution and different monitors. I think they are dell ws 19 inch. Yesterday when I hooked it up, I noticed the clipping, changed the input once and it corrected itself. Not the case today...I have tried everything. refresh is at 60.

Anything else to try...? Again, the monitors are not going through the KVM as I have a dual monitor setup. I just switch the input on the monitor to get to the d-sub. J

Thanks.
