I have dual moniters setup on my laptop.

Attached is----the laptop moniter
Desktop is------the desktop moniter.

I have the moniters working correctly, sort of :-/. I have
my desktop moniter on the right, and attached moniter on the right.

I have my taskbar configured to be on the right, because I want my right moniter to be the main moniter. When i right click the desktop to change the desktop moniter to the primary, the optiion to do this is grayed out. Is it not possible to do this?? If not then it defeats my purpose of dual moniters :(. Please help me out.

AIM me "AMDman12GHz" or post\.

Thanks

Josh

What operating system?

You might be able to just drag the taskbar to the other screen. My taskbar (Win2K work machine) is currently on the secondary display. Granted, I am making extensive use of QuickLaunch bars and have them spread out over both displays.

Looks like hes running windows XP pro. I have this same problem trying to get dual monitor setup. It runs fine dual monitor in 2k but wont show up in the settings area for XP.

It is XP pro, It will let em move the taskbar but i cant run programs liek power dvd in the secondary moniter, or games which is what i want to do. So i need to make the laptop screen the secondary when it detects another moniter attached.

I am currently running the same setup with the same problem. My lcd's are the same size, so not a big issue to me. Post if you figure out a workaround though. I would be curious. BTW, I'm using a geforce 2 go on a dell latitude under XP.

THe only option I can suggest is to change the primary display in BIOS (if that is even possible). I don't like laptops, so I don't know if you can do that.
