At CompUSA, Mad Dog rebox.

The Mad Dog 6-in-1 Single Layer drives were NEC 2500's. If these are the 2510's, then it could be great deal.

....if you want to wait for the $30 MIR -- probably from New Rochelle, though.

dual layer nec 2510s are already 86-88 bucks shipped at online stores.

why bother with taxes, mail in rebate, and skyrocketing gas prices?

I live 500ft from the New Rochelle PO and they still lost my rebates. We moved within the same building and the idiots decided to cancel our change of address forms - they said they could handle it without the form. A year later and we are getting mail 2 months late at times. Eeeeeediots.

Dont need to say much more, you hit it on the head.

It's definitely a 2510a in the box. I just picked one up. It comes with OEM suite 1. 🙁 I'm glad I got Nero 6 Ultra for $19.99AR at Fry's a couple of weeks ago.

I didn't buy the newegg drive because it's bare and I'd have to pay tax just like at CompUSA anyways. The CompUSA drive comes out to $6.20 cheaper after rebate. It's probably the opposite for people outside the taxable newegg states...
