Possible? Yes Easy? No Gonna help your case? Not likely (since you state your schools feed 'is suck') two connections to 'is suck' won't make the 'is suck' itself suck less ;)

I think you can do it but not with two cards, just with a card with two ports. We have them in our servers. Both ports are 10/100 and can be connected up at the same time. But getting them to share resources would be the only problem.

Maybe I shouldn't have been sarcastic in my original response. From what I read of the post, he's complaining that his schools connection sucks. Hooking 1, 2 or 20 NIC's into his net isn't going to make their feed any faster. If he's on a campus lan, I sincerely doubt he's fully utilizing his local lan bandwidth.

Trying to run two fire hoses through one garden hose STILL isn't going to make that garden hose any bigger or hold any more water.. You won't get any benefit (and might even loose some performance). The only time you would see a difference is if you have some kind of upload/download cap. And even then, two NIC's really don't work all that well for load balancing, in a default mode. Too many odd things happen.
