dual duron?

Hi,

I just had a person tell me there are dual duron boards available, yet I have never seen any, nor can I find any info on any. Are there any boards or chipsets for this configuration?

There are no "offical" dual-Duron boards. AMD only advocates AthlonMPs for Dual Soclet A boards. However, many people have found that both AthlonXPs & Durons will work just fine in a dual setting.

If you go go dual Durons, just be sure to go with the Morgan core Durons (1 GHz and up).

I have a Tiger MPX with two overclocked Duron 1G. Works fine but your memery only runs at pc1600 if you can't get ur durons to do 133fsb.

I've had dual 1.3 duron's running on a MSI K7D master dual MP mobo.
Good source for MP and MPX mobo's check 2CPU

How do you like that K7D? I've been thinking of picking one up. 2cpu's forums seem high on it.

How's the stability of your setup?
