One of the things I do before I drop a whole lot of cash is I research. Research, research, research. I figure before I give away my hard-earned money, I'm going to find out whether or not it's worth it to pay for what I want, is it reasonable, does it do what I want it to do, and what kind of value will it add to my life.
You, on the other hand, appear to take a "pin the tail on the donkey" approach to buying hardware. A few minutes on google, maybe even less searching this forum, would have told you that SLI is having issues running multiple monitor configurations. So what do you do? You buy a second monitor first, figure out it doesn't work, and then chastise NVidia for not supporting more than 1 monitor in SLI.
While I agree that NVidia's support for SLI is spotty when moving to advanced configurations, there is no excuse for someone who fails to research a product before they buy it. It sounds to me like someone doesn't want to take responsiblity for their own mistakes. Maybe the money you've lost over this has taught you a lesson: research what you want to do before you invest your money in it. It'll save you headaches like this (and the ACD headache you had earlier) and cost you nothing but a few minutes' time.
