Can someone post step by step dual monitor display instructions for a radeon 4550.
1st display is a lcd monitor
2nd display is a 46" tv

Purpose is to have an extended drag and drop desktop.

Was trying to get it to work.. and my taskbar disappeared.

Any ideas?

Turn off the system, plugg both monitors in, turn system on.

Monitors will both display the same thing till you get to windows. Then your primary monitro will be the only one with a picture. Go to display properties and the settings tab. Chick the advance button and click the tab that shows your video card. In there you will find the setting for enabling dual monitor and you will be given some options on how you would like the system to treat that 2nd monitor.
 
You'll need to know what the resolution of it is and set the video accordingly. Keep in mind things may not be as clear on the TV as it would be on a monitor. How are you connecting the TV?
