dual display question

I have a radeon 8500 128mb running a philips 170b and a silicon graphics 21" monitor.
i want to try a couple things.

One. Play games spread across both displays. Just to see 😀
Two. Play a game that isnt able to run in a window and be able to use the other screen for browsing at the same time. ATL tab will not work with the game. It makes the game crash to the desktop. Any solutions out there besides building me another computer(been there, and dont want 2 comps at the desk any more)

The reason I bought a dual display card was to be able to use the computer for other things at the same time Im playing a game.

Any help is appreciated.

1. Only the primary display will have accelerated graphics, so probably not worth the hassle. (few games support dual monitors anyway)
2. You need to play the game in your primary display, and browse in the secondary monitor. This shouldn't be a problem with your Radeon.

I can select whichever display to play the game in, but not both. Thats ok since there different sizes and resolutions.

As far as browsing while playing. If I use ALT TAB during the game it boots me off. The window is locked so the mouse cannot go beyond that area.

Any other suggestions.
