Dual Display Problem

Hi all,
My company has a computer that we use for music editing purposes, but since it's a portable unit we recently installed some video editing software on it to use in the field. It's a P4 2.8 Prescott chip on an Elite MB, and we run XP Pro and it has a Nvidia FX 5500 AGP video adapter. We use dual displays, set in horizontal mode and run our music editing software (Sonar 4) with no problem. When we tried to run Adobe Premiere in dual display...the right (B moniter) will go blank after start up...but you can drag the window into the B moniter...and it comes alive...but the A moniter goes blank. I've never seen anything like this...and we've tried updated drivers, other programs (works fine with Excel, AutoCad)....so we're stumped. Anyone ever see this before?
Thanks, Will

Never seen it before, but I would try the program UltraMon. I think its a free 30 day trial. It works really well for me with dual displays. Look for it on download.com.

I've seen something similar. I use Zinio Reader to read digital magazines. Zinio Reader can not be moved over to the secondary monitor.

Looks like some softare is designed to only be displayed in the primary monitor. Perhaps a program like UltraMon can overcome such software restrictions. You might ask the question in the UltraMon site's forum.

Thanks, UltraMon did indeed solve the problem....I am now happily running video in both displays. Thanks for the help, I do appreciate it.
Willie
