Last week I temporarily had my Dell 600m connected to an LCD monitor, and was using it to "extend" my desktop onto it. I was using photoshop on the 2nd monitor, and now when i go to create a new document in photoshop, the dialog box that should appear does not show up. I'm guessing that its trying to draw that box where the LCD monitor was.

Does anyone have any idea how i can get that back on my laptop screen? Its really annoying.

Thanks,
Ryan

Can't you just go to display properties then settings. click on the box with a number two on it and uncheck the box in the lower left hand corner which says "Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor". That should help.

Either that, or double-click the title bar of the window to either minimize it or maximize it to the screen. Of course, if you haven't done what sirjahmez has suggested, or your laptop video card can't recognize if a monitor is plugged in or not, then this still won't work.

I posted about this too, the easiest way to go back to dual mode and move the dialog boxes back to the left. It's such a pain in the ace. I tried ultramon and it didnt help either. Someone with an easy fix would be much appreciated.

I ended up just re-installing the app and everything went back to default. I would have hooked up the 2nd monitor, but it was my dad's and i only had it here a few days.
