Hi, I got a Leadtek 6200 with dual display output. Just wonder if it's possible to output to the TV and LCD Monitor with different screens. I would like to watch movie with the TV screen while I browse web on the LCD monitor but I don't want to have a split screen display. It would be nice if I can have a full screen display of movie on the TV while I have a full screen IE for browsing. Is that possible or dual output only support identity screen output? Thanks for the help!

it's very much possible ;)

should be able to set the screens up in your video card settings.

Yeah, if you plug both of them in, go into your display properties and then the settings tab and you can set one of the monitors as the primary display, and the other one to extend your windows desktop onto it. Real easy :)

Hi guys I tried out and it seems able to sense both my LCD and TV. With the NVidia driver utility it allows me to separate the two screen with it's own native resolution. Then I can drag windows from my LCD all the way to my TV. So basically I can open a movie with WM and then drag it to the TV and do a full screen to watch it at my TV while I open up a full screen IE on my LCD for browsing.

However, now I have a problem, if I set my LCD as primary windows, then my TV (which is a not primary) can not display any RM movies. However, when I setup the TV as primary screen then it will play the RM movies but it means all windows will popup from the TV side since it's now a primary source. My point is whatever screen not set as primary, then it's not possible to display RM movies (the Real Player screen is blacked out). Does anyone have the same experience and can you solve the issue? Thanks for all the help. Now I am really happy with my LCD, TV set so I can watch movie while I browse with hooking up just one computer.

The limitation here is that the NVidia chip has only one so called video overlay surface, which can appear on either screen. Not all applications are intelligent enough to move it over if you move the application window over. IIRC, the NVidia driver has a separate control item about which screen "owns" the overlay. Try that.
