I undertand that you can do that in task manager, but it is temporary. I was thinking of something permanent that recognized all background processes, and automatically reserve a core for the app that takes the most space. Is there something that does this? If not, I was just
thinking, mind you, not commanding, that if someone wants a project that many people here would benefit from, they could try it. I'm not sure how much work would be involved, but to my peeny brain, it seems not that complicated.
EDIT: zbox, I just looked up your link. My main rig is down right now, so could you tell me exactly what that app does? I'll try it soon, but would like to know about it first.
