dual core/windows task manager/making 1 core?

ive heard guys making there dual core into 1 core from windows task manager,cpu runs as 1 full core speeding up everything.....anybody can help on this subject:thumbsup:

it was from a amd site long long ago he even sent me a movie on how to do this showing step by step i didnt have dual core yet.....cant find the movie........... this was when the dual core amds came out in the begining,thanks for the help im sure if it was possible everybody would be on it

Heh, you can set the options in Task Manager to show them as one core, but it doesn't change anything. That's probably what they did.
