Dual Core Atom Netbooks

My father just picked up an Acer Aspire One netbook and it's pretty slick. Build quality is great, material quality is great; this little device is very sturdy... it's just slow as snot.

Now, if it had an extra core (like the Atom 330 has) and say ATI 4000 series or nVidia 200 series IGP it would be perfect. I know battery life is an issue but honestly with an extra core and IGP it can't be that much more.

Anyway, I never thought I would like netbooks but I'm hooked now!

It seems like a fad, 13 inch notebooks are just as portable and include much better parts and quality for the same price as a higher-end netbook. A Core 2 at almost 2GHz is usually a base option.
