ive got 2 gb of 667 and i want to know if im running dual channel.
what speeds should i be looking for in cpu-z and/or is there another method
 
Your speeds will not change while operating in dual channel. Assuming your mobo is fully support by CPUZ, you want to look under the Memory tab IIRC. Otherwise, check the POST screen when you boot, it will tell you if it's Dual Channel.
 
yeah cpuz will tell ya... just click memory tab and under "Channels #" it should say dual
