you plug it into the slots that are the same color, and you're good to go.
 
it means those two sticks of ram you bought were tested to work in dual channel mode. They package those two sticks of ram together because they wont have any problems when you run them in dual channel mode.
 
If your motherboard supports it, it should run right away with no need for configuration. You should look at your POST messages and use a diagnostic program to confirm that the memory is running dual channel.

Err, not necessarily.

Some mobos have the colors for dual channel opposite.

RTM for correct locations.

Well unless you give us at least some info thats a bit hard to answer..your motherboard has to support it, or if it's an A64 then it has to be socket 939, since 754 doesnt' support dual channel.
 
Well, to run my system in dual channel, it's like this... I have 4 slots for RAM. There are two slots close together, and then a bit separated from that is the other two. If you put one in the first slot of each of those "groups", it runs in dual channel.

You might have different setup though, so possibly match colors or something like suggested?

Wrong, there are plenty of socket A motherboards that support dual channel..
 
Well the only thing I can suggest is to read the manual. Your motherboard only has 2 dimm sockets, so you obviously can't put them in the wrong ones. Run CPU-z and it should tell you if you are in dual channel mode or not. If not look in the manual to see if you need to enable it in bios or not.
 
It's a program that identifies your CPU, but it also identifies your ram, what the timings are, and weather it running dual or single channel. Just do a google search and download it..
