What AMD Platform ? and doing what ? Not really, except in some cases on the Athlon64/Opteron platform (forget exactly what it was, but memory bandwidth DOES actually double on my dually Opteron over my Athlon64) I will check the benches, and reply if I find it.

i noticed little difference between 1 and 2 sticks, although going from 333 to 220 fsb seemed like at least 10% improvement, and was good for a 16500 to 17000 jump in 3d mark 2001 with a slight clock decrease.

On an AthlonXP, it makes virtually no difference. The CPU can't use more than a single channel anyhow.

Dual channel will add about 5%-15% performance to Athlon 64 systems.

Yep, 2nd that. It's a big difference when you use in IGP.

Otherwise dual channel matters for Intel and not AMD.
