Dual channel problem. Identical RAM showing different timings?

I've been out of computer-building for a long time, so this might be a really dumb question.

I just ordered a duplicate RAM for a small desktop system to double the RAM for dual channel. Old one was in DIMM1 and I put the new one in DIMM2.

However, POST and CPUZ both show that it's still single-channel.

In the SPD tab of CPUZ i get different information on the timings for both DIMMs (see pictures)

The only thing i can think of is that it's been a year or two since purchasing the first stick of RAM, but all the numbers match up on the stickers.
Am I missing something?

Thanks

Typically you have to put the memory into offset sockets - 1&3 or 2&4 - to enable dual-channel mode.

The sockets are usually color-coded to indicate the pairs that support dual-channel.

You have them in the right slots according to the manual. I would try manually setting the timings in the bios. The SPD settings for both sticks have different timings on some of the #s. Set them all manually so they will be forced to match up and see if that makes them go into dual channel.

You bought two sticks, each at different times. They are slightly different, regardless of what the sticker says. Try for a return before it's too late, and grab a dual channel kit (or two individual sticks bought at the same time).
