Dual Channel Memory...

I've got 512MB of PC2700 in my mobo and another 512MB of the same brand and speed on the way. I'm a little worried and wondering what I can expect because I just found out that the one I have currently is a 32MX16 stick and the other is a 64MX8...so the 'geometry' seems to be a little different?

I've heard my mobo is a little picky with ram. Am I going to be able to run in dual channel mode? Or am I going to have to run them in single channel mode? Or will they even work together at all?

They are the same speed, both unbuffered, non-ecc ram....

What do you guys think?

The mobo is an ASUS A7N8X and the ram is simpletech pc2700 cl2.5

I am sure they will run together, but dual channel may be iffy... Are they the same brand? Also, what mobo are you using?

Same brand....A7N8X mobo.

From what I've heard, dual channel mode won't give me a noticable speed increase so as long as they run together in single channel mode I'll be happy.
