Dual channel memory loading as single

I have 2 sticks of Patriot DDR 400 ram that equal 2 gigs. The POST shows 2 gigs of memory but it reads them as single channel and at DDR333. I have the sticks installed in the green slots. Any ideas what is going on?
 
Check the manual to be sure, but I'm pretty sure that you need one in the green slot and the other in the adjacent purple slot. I can guarantee you that it's in the manual, though 😉
 
Yeah I read the manual and put one in green and purple but I ended up screwing up the bios with my fiddling so I had to clear it and start over. Now it works....
