Dual booting same OS?

Is it possible to install and dual boot the same OS (say Windows 2003 Server for example). I have 2 sets of applications that rely on different versions of some other applications. I'm trying to avoid virtualization.

There are many ways to do what you want, but why are you avoiding virtualization? In most cases it makes your job a helluva lot easier..
