I recently installed win2K in my system to have a 98/2k dual boot. I noticed that the boot loader is just an .INI file that is read by the OS as first thing, and then it chooses OS. In the first stages of win2k installation, the choices were 98=C:\ and 2K=C:\winnt. After it finished the choice for 2K was refering to a partition/logical drive.
I just got curious..... If I copy an image of a 98 installation to another HD D:\, then I install a fresh win 98 in c:\, and finally I add the boot.ini file (win98-1=c:\, win98-2=d:\)
Do you think that this can make a dual boot setup for win98/win98....
Thanks
