Dual boot Win2k and WinMe

OK, just need some clarification. I would like to dual boot, using 1 HD, Win2k and WinMe.

When dual booting the 2 OS's, you should use FAT32 (in order to have access to your entire HD). Also, install WinMe before Win2k, right?

Now, here's where I need some serious help...I would ultimately be creating 5 parititions.
WinMe OS & drivers
Games, software, and utilities
Win2K OS, drivers, Office, and VisualStudio
software & utilities
storage (mp3, setup files)

So does that look good? Smart idea? Bascially, I know it sucks in that if I'm playing a game (WinMe) and decide
to check my E-mail, I would have to boot into Win2k...etc. I know you can play a lot of games under Win2k, but I still like to play my EA Sports games--need the 9x kernel for that. I also want to avoid installing Outlook or other programs twice.

Does anyone else have a dual boot system set up? Is this the way to do it, or is being redundent the way to go?

Other question: Should I just pick an OS and stick with it--no dual boot??

Me again, sorry about the added post here.

I have seen a few recommended partitions and this "swap/boot" partition keeps appearing. I also forgot to mention that I have a 30GB HD...here are what I want to break it down as (sorry I didn't number my last post)
1.) WinMe, Norton SystemWorks, and drivers (3GB)
2.) Games, software, and utilties (10GB)
3.) Win2K, drivers, Office, and VisualStudio (5GB)
4.) software & utilities (3GB)
5.) storage (mp3, set up files) (9GB)

Look good? Also, should I load SystemWorks onto my WinMe and Win2K paritions??

Try EA sports games under W2K. IF you load the March compatibility update you will be able to "right" click on a short cut and select the OS compat layer that you want to run the game in. I have found that most 9X games that previously would not run will now run!! I was very surprised

I have win98 and Win 2kpro and I have 4 partitions.

I've tried creating partitions for each stuff, but I came back to this setting

c:Win98 and Program Files, I gave myself about 3.5 gig

d:win2k and prog. files. the same

e:games: about 13 gigs

fump : where I dump all my mp3's movies, personal files, and what not.

Works out pretty well.
