Dual Boot System (Raid)

Yes i have 4 Hard disks in my tower, 2 of each are in raid. On one raid i have Vista installed first, on second raid windows 7. When i turn on my system i have the available option at startup to select which operating system to boot. Now i want to either format or delete the raid with Vista on it either in Motherboards raid config utility or windows 7.. If i delete the raid array (For Vista) (Mind you i created this myself), in motherboards config utlilty will i mess up the boot for windows 7?

An easy way to find out is to disconnect the Vista RAID array's power and see if the system boots. If it does, then you know and can proceed.

Assuming you used the normal windows boot loader, then yes, you will need to repair it, since the information has changed.
