Dual boot question

I have searched and I can't find a thread that directly addresses this.

I currently have one HD in my system and would like to dual boot Win2K with ME. I already have ME installed. I would like to put them on seperate partitions. Does anyone know of a step by step guide for doing this or can someone help me through it?

You need an app like partition magic to make seperate prtitions. otherwise you will have to start over from scratch using fdisk. Fdisk will erase your HD. Get partition magic and split the singe one you have into 3 partitions. You will end up with ME installed on c: and 2 new partitions. Format them. you shoudl now have 3 HDs listed in explorer. C:, D:, E:.
On D: install Win2k. It will create the dual boot for you.
On E: install you applications. If you want to install an app in both ME and 2k, you will have to install it in 1 os, then install it again in the other. Use E: as a common place for the apps. So if you are using office in both OSes, install it to the same place in both OS.

I would set up the partitions like this..
C: with Windows ME 1Gig
d: with Win2K 2 Gig
e: what ever room you have left.

Hope this helps 🙂
