Ok, stupid newbie (me) has another problem. I dual booted Win 98se and W2k using Partion/Boot Magic to set up the HD. I do not understand how partions work very well so I trusted this program. I selected the "Install a new OS" option and Partion Magic did the rest. The program set up a hidden partion that I installed w2k on. When I am in Win98, the Win2k partion remains hidden and visa versa. Both programs list the HD as "C". I assume that I only have one true partion but Partion Magic sets up seperate directorys which remain discreat.

Now the problem, yesterday while using Win2k my system locked up while trying to surf the internet and run a music CD at the same time. I had to power-off the system to get out of the lock-up and now my Win2K will not boot. I get an error that states that Windows is preparing to start - but it doesn't. Partion magic shows two errors on the partion but I do not understand what these error messages mean.

Can anyone help me get Win2k back? Thanks in advance.
