dual boot advice

tomorrow i am installing a dual boot (win98se and win2k) setup for my 1ghz system. Any comments or advice that might save me any trouble or make my system run smooth...thanks

Install W2K in standard pc mode instead of acpi. Press F5 when setup prompts you to press F6 during the first screen. This allows you to choose Standard PC.

I suppose it might be an idea to try and get hold of Win2000 versions of drivers for your hardware before you upgrade, just in case you can't get your modem working in Win2000 ;)

It would also be a good idea to create a seperate document partition. This provides some extra security.

well, thanks, i have the dual boot working fine now and loaded the new win2k drivers and everthying is great. I also like the little menu to select the OS to boot from. thanks for the help
