I have heard that you can't get dual Athlon XP processors, you have to get the MPs. Is this true? Also what is a good mobo for dual AMDs?
 
XP processors are identical to MP processors in so far as the core is the same. The only difference is that MP chips are tested and guaranteed to work in SMP. Their L1 bridges are also no scored by the laser so unlocking them is said to be the same as with the ceramic packaging. There are a slew of MP boards using the 760MPX chipset. I would search around and pick one that has the feature set you require.
