The title says it all. Dual 7900's (GT or GTX, not sure yet) with the new AC Accelero X1 coolers, will these fit on the "low end" DFI SLI board, i.e. not the Expert one.

If not, what boards will fit this?

What's the general rule of thumb about aftermarket coolers & SLI?

It might, but it will be tight fit and the exhausted air from the top card won't be able to escape easily. If you want to use two cards with dual slot coolers, you're better off with the Expert or some other board with the PCIE 16 slots three positions apart (so there are two other slots between them).

Ah damnit, that's right.

So is the only AC solution for 7900GT cooling the modded NV5 still?

dual 7900 gtx fits with the stock coolers...cause i had that setup

and if you get the gtx's...the stock cooler's more than enough if you have good airflow

getting the accelero would be a down grade
