Crack RC5, run SETI@Home, browse the net and use ICQ, play games like Starcraft and Redalert.

That's about all I can think of to use a system like that for .. Oh and if it has a scanner/burner, you can use those just fine too.

Depending on the brand, dual CPU socket sevens bring a small mint in the market. Just the mb might bring $100 and I've seen them bring $140!

As for RAM, it will use 72pin EDO.

What motherborad is it?

install linux, although i think you'll have to recompile the kernel for dual cpu support on most distro's. I could be wrong though. I'm just a newb.

Hey, my dad's still using a single CPU 200MHz workstation for his business, don't knock dual 200s. :) Honestly it'll be decent for a lot of things...not the fastest thing out there, but it'll manage a lot.

I'd set it up as a server.
I run a P-MMX 166Mhz at work, and it's fine for my needs.
80MB RAM, WinTN4 Workstation. A dual 200Mhz could do lots ;)

Before you make too many plans you might want to check out the price of EDO. Super expensive. Probably why you got the box without it.

PM Badthad. He had some for sale a while back.

i'd say that its still a very good computer for people who dont 3d game. Really with 128mb of ram and win2k and dual 200mhz chips, its fine for pretty much every task any normal person would use. All i can think of it couldn't handle is 3d games past quake1 engine, ASF decoding, and movie encoding.
