Dual 12V rails

If I had a power supply with dual 12V rails each having a max current of 15A and I needed to draw 25A, for example, off the 12V, will the power supply be able to handle this? Does one rail help the other to provide enough amps?

How do the amps add up? Is it 30A total off the dual 12V rails in this case?

Thanks!

i do NOT think that they add up...lol...otherwise they would for sure state the max drawable A on each rail... ? If it says "15A" on one railll..dont expect it magically be able to draw 30 when the other is not used or so 🙂 My $0.2 Others may correct me....

as long as you are drawing it evenly off of the two, it should be fine. if you draw more than 15A from one of them, then there may be problems. hopefully this is a good psu, as 30A*12V = 360W. thats a lot of power draw.
