Odd thing with my home network
I have a WTR54GS V1.0 with all the wired ports in use. I added a D-Link DSS5+ to get a couple extra ports and I cannot understand why downloads on the PC connected to the DSS5 are much faster than when plugged straight into the GS ? even web pages pop up instantaniously now. ISP is via Cable modem
Is there a technical reason why performance would be better going through a switch that is connected to the same port in the GS vs a PC plugged strait into that port ?
