Hmm my wife's PC is nearly a 50% overclock and it's rock solid with SETI. My PC is solid at 1.33 for everything but SETI. I'll try to ratchet down the OCing.
The S@N stats page seems to be down.

OK, a quick question here.
Seeing as our competition with DSLReports.com starts on Jan 1st, if I crunch some SETI units now on SETI driver, but don't upload them until after Jan 1st will they count for that date, or when I actually processed them?

Been an AT-SETI member for a while now. Will start crunching units. Just a question though. I have an AMD Tbird 1.333 (266 fsb) w/256MB PC133 on an ECS K7S5A. What OS and SETI client will give me optimal WU time? I am getting approximately 7 WU/day with the graphical client in Win2K/XP. Will I notice a significant increase if I use the commandline client or something?

Ive tried twice before and now again I cant friggin join. When I setup my acount it says there is no acount with that email adress when im trying to create a friggin account, it crashed my !@#$% puter again and I give up. Sorry guys.

Let's see fellas, I've been tied up tonight and have just gotten a chance to check out the Forum. Well, we have several questions in a row that no one else has answered. So here goes:
Haircut, I'm not exactly sure when the race starts but WUs done before the race should be sent in prior to the official start. To hold them back until the race starts is considered "bad sportsmanship". So I suggest we beat them fair and square. No holding back.
RSI, 1st I'd have to say you are getting phenomenal WUs out of that rig running the GUI. I have seen reports that the CLI Client can improve times up to and beyond 50% on slower computers. You will get better times with the CLI Client but they may not be that much of an improvement over your current production. But the improvement should be more than sufficient to justify completely deleting the GUI and installing the CLI Client with SetiDriver. Follow the HOW TO instruction HERE and be sure to use METHOD 2.

Millions of people are running SETI all over the world...I'm sure we can overcome this problem. We can work on the problem here in the open forum or you can PM me and we will work it out in private...your choice. I need to know: Your CPU, OS, which SETI Client you are using, how you have set it up on your computer, and just what steps you took when trying to establish a Seti@Home Account. Let me hear from you...we need all of the help we can muster.

So you originally created an account with the e-mail address A, and when you try to login to that account on a SETI client it says e-mail address A doesn't exist? Go here and see e-mail address A shows up on the stats. If not, I'd guess you made a typo or something.
