Explain to me how a 67mhz processor is going to run an emulator at any type of decent speed, especially when said emulator must be ported to the DS hardware, under a port of linux no less?

You could just use linux as a boot loader, and run the emulation as native arm9 code. Then load the rom´s from a flashcart - or flashcart+ usb port.

How easy will it be loading the Linux port to the DS? Do we have to overwrite firmware? Is it reversible?

And sounds very cool! I haven't preordered because there are no perks on doing so, but I definately will be getting one!

The idea is to just load linux into a flashcart, plug it in and enjoy!
