I'd call your ISP and see if they were able to connect it or not. That'd save you from trying to configure the modem and things and not having it work and not knowing if it was indeed connected or if the hardware isn't hooked up right/doesn't work right.
Thx for the advice guys...I don't want to ditch my current set-up until I know the DSL is truely live. I have one more question will your phone work if you do not use the filters? That may be a real easy way to check to see if they have switched me over yet.
If you have an external DSL modem, all 3 lights on it should be on (assuming it's similar to my modem). Once they're all on, call your chosen ISP and they'll finish the setup. At least that's how it worked on my Verizon DSL.
