DSL help! darn ISP's

i desided to hop on over the dslreports.com and found that i can get DSL here but nobody services my phone#(verizon is my phone compy) , acordding to dslreports i'm about 6920 feet from the central office but.....No DSL providers answered for your address.. Please check the Who Provides DSL? view. is there anything i can do?? i feel screwed

Your best bet is to call verizon directly and see if they can run a line test to verify whether you can get service. DSL requires a dry line (No voice coils, repeaters, etc) within the distance limits, within certain other limits. The only one who can reliably ascertain whether your line meets service, or whether they can do anything to get you service (run another line to a different port on box, etc, etc) would be the actual Telco.....
