Hey folks, my dsl connection through concentric is in. They did not take long to get out here, get it in, and help me get it set up. This is DA BOMB! Other DSL providers told me we were too far away, but concentric had Northpoint come out, test the line and then put it in. Tech said that it was one of the cleanest connections she had seen. Oh yeah, the DSL tech was a 28 year old Lady. And man was she CUTE.(details later) I got the Business Deal from Concentric. 69.00 per month, includes 4 static IP addys, 5 emails, and 20 megs of webspace. Which I can have point back to my own little webserver here at the house. MAN THIS IS GREAT. Connection is almost as good as at the office. So now I can surf, talk on the phone, download drivers etc all at the same time.
Now I just need to get my LINUX router/firewall set back up and running as a leased line router and not a dial up.
Any way one can tell just how fat of a connection I am getting through the router?
