im my area

Cable is 3.0/384 for 35$ a month

DSL is 1.5-2.0/128 for 30$ a month

i have cable, its NOT shared by my block and i never expirence slow downs

The main differences between DSL and cable is the line they come in on and what the physical limitations are for those materials. Most DSL companies offer less than 1.5bmps download, but you also can pay different amounts for different upstream/downstream caps. Most cable companies offer *atleast* 1.5mbps and really crappy uploads.

ah well i guess all go with with the verizon dsl. I dont think I have a choice. At the moment i am getting free cable for some reason and I bet if i ask them to install a cable modem they will realize this and turn it off..making us actually pay for it.

hmm maybe i should just go all the way and go for digital cable and the cable modem for like 100 bucks a month lol...split four ways thats 25 a month not toooo bad but not as good as 10 a month.

as long as DSL is fast enough and i can play my CS and EQ and download my videos ill be happy

I have 3.0/384 DSL and in my area it blows past the 3 meg cable offering like me on the 'Busa and Red Dawn on his tricycle.

😀
