Rollo, you should be welcoming the competition not making fun of everything that is made by the other company because nVidia is perfect, and never has any problems what so ever.

I agree. Rollo is based on the Nvidia side. When ATi competion comes out, he says it's garbage even if it out performs it.

Ackmed you only mistake was treating Rollo like a regular member. Everyone knows he puts the F in fanboi. Taking him point by point is like telling a Communist that Capitalism isnt so bad. Kind of like talking to a brick wall.
If this guy was in the middle east he'd be strapping on explosives onto his chest because Islam 'rocks da house'.

I hope for his sanity that he at least owns a lot of stock, because if he doesnt he's certifiabily insane.

Lmao agreed.

The board looks like it has the same features as any other DFI board. What's all the fan fair about?

I was wondering that as well.

I am also wondering how KeepItRed knows that it will own SLI.

Kinda like the guy that's on the AMD forums who says the R520 will rip the 7800 GTX apart. It's all speculation. Hell, even the benchmarks that were leaked from Computex showed what..a 2fps improvement? That's not even the standard benchmarking deviation.

No idea, probably just fans, heatsinks and other cheap features lol.

So why are you all excited to spend your (or your parents') money on it...?

When SLI first came out, all the ATI guys were ranting and raving calling adoptors "SLI beta testers". At least nVidia had a few successful chipsets under their belt at that time and there were benchmarks to show the gains. I'm not saying that CrossFire will be bad, but I would be surprised if CrossFire turns out to be smooth sailing for the early adoptors. Yet, the zealous are already lining up to buy something that we haven't even seen benchmarks on. If you're going to let the product come out before pledging your allegence, at least wait for benchmarks and some stress testing.

DSI Crossfire

EDIT: There we are, sorry about that. Heheh

Errr, what exactly from that article sounds "badass" to you KeepItRed?

That ATI might have ironed out their Southbridge so it actually works?

Obviously. This boards going to own the SLI 😀

Really? Where can i buy an X850 master card?
