DS3, Ultra 120 Extreme, HR-05

Yes, it will fit but why bother? A 40mm fan on the stock NB heatsink fits perfectly and attaches with screws into the heatsink slots and cools just as well for about $4. I have used both on this board and The 40mm fan cools equally well. If the fan you choose is noisy get a Zalman fan speed controller for about $5. The HR-05 requires you to remove the MB and is a hassle to install, easy to knock off and cools no better that the above setup.

im running a ds3 with U-120 extreme and a hr-05 sli. its good other than the hr-05 is almost touching my vidcard. theres about a couple mm clearance. im running it passive right now but im gonna stick a 80mm fan on it soon .

Thanks for the responses. I think I'll go with just the Ultra 120 Extreme for now and use a 40mm fan as Cardio suggested.

Now I just need to decide if I want to buy the HR-03 for the 8800GTX...
