DS3 memory Multiplier issue

I saw some reviews about DS3 and problem is if we overclock C2D to 400MHz FSB and beyond we need DDR2-800MHz or higher! because DS3 dont have lower than 2.00x (1:1) memory Multiplier
my question :
if I buy OCZ GOLD XTC 667 4-4-4-12 and run it @ 800MHz 4-4-4-8 then I cant overclock my E6300 over FSB 400x7=2.8GHz its true? and I need better memory?

Although I just setup my C2D box last night, I think your right. If you relax the timings to like 5-5-5-15 or so, It may be just fine. Then again I bought the 800Mhz stuff so it was easier for me

do not buy OCZ gold...I've been repeating myself all the time because it doesn't seem to play nice with most motherboards out of the box (before BIOS flash).
