I had to go on a train journey yesterday. It was like, leave at 3am in the morning and be back home by 10pm in the evening. The train journey was some 4 - 5 hours one-way. So, that means total 8 - 10 hours traveling.
I am so glad that I brought my DS for the trip. I have Luminous Arc 2 with me, and I really enjoyed it. I think I progressed through 3 chapters or so. (I was doing some of the side-quests too) The journey there didn't even feel that long.
Coming back I was watching "Ragnarok the Animation" (I use moonshell). An entertaining way to spend time.
It was then that I realized one BIG difference between the PSP and DS. You can keep the DS straight up on a table and lean back. It was like having a mini-TV with me on the trip. For a movie, I guess the PSP has a better screen and a lot more color, but I don't think you can keep it up vertically.
I used head-phones, so it didn't bother anyone else. As long as I have time to prepare for a long-trip (encode my anime to watch on DS), now I'm actually looking forward for the next trip.
