If he's playing games he owns then it shouldn't be illegal..

Also, realhotstuff is great. Go for the Supercard Lite/Superkey combo.

If you own the games you wouldn't need a ROM or emulator. It's all BS.

Carrying one cart is easier than carrying a whole collection.

yeap. i plan on putting my daughters nintendogs and SMB on for her. be better if i could throw on her GBA games also.

but from what i understand you can't.

M3 (GBA cart types) have superb GBA support, so if you wanted all GBA games + NDS games, M3 is the way to go. Only issue with M3 is there are a few games for NDS that won't work (Downhill Jam, and a couple random puzzle games)

ok, so which M3 are you talking about? cause there are several different models right? there's the M3 simply which is, to my understanding, exactly the same as an R4 right? and i also understand that the R4 and M3 simply both act the same as a superkey (or whatever it's called) if you were to have the supercard lite in for GBA backups right?

it's really hard to find this information online as vendor decriptions are pretty vague... so let's say i want to surf the internet, use my ds as a pda, and play backups of my GBA games and DS games, what do i need?

does anyone have a forums that i can read that will give a simple description for all or most of the products out there?

How does the M3 Lite play DS games, as far as lag and load times go? Are the games nice and smooth? The flash memory ones such as the G6 Lite, how do they compare?
