try a nizerol (sp) based shampoo as for your back you'll need to get a long handled bath brush and some sea salt, take a steaming hot bath, apply the sea salt with the brush, afterwards before toweling off while your skin is still wet, apply heavy duty mositurizer, vasline intensive care works well, repeat as needed, your skin will glow and be very soft !

Benedryl and go to Walgreens... This is a typical cold weather problem. Get some lotion and change shampoo for a little while (something for dry scalp). If its persistant try the medicated shampoos.

All else fails... Rum- titrate to effect.

I know it's a cold weather problem...but it's teh worst when the weather in teh spring when the weather gets warm, but at the end of spring, it goes away. I went to the doctor last year and he gave me this chortico... stuff. It didn't help one bit. The stuff off the shelf helped so much more, but only for about a half hour. Then I did reasearch and found out I could no longer take hot showers:( Now, i also have to use body wash instaed of soap....that stuff is so expensive!

a lot of them are the same, some of the more expensive ones add fragrance, start with Vaseline Intensive care and work your way up

I dunno if I have the same case as you do, but my hair has constantly itched for years. I've had dry flakes, oily flakes, and in-between flakes. The best solution I have found is using a different shampoo everyday. My hair and scalp don't have the opportunity to get used to a specific one. Sounds weird, but works pretty good for me. Good luck. :)
